Biography
Vicko Vidan (Split, Croatia, 1975) is an urban landscape and architecture photographer. During and after his years at Arts High school in Split he collaborated as photojournalist with Croatian newspapers Slobodna Dalmacija, Vjesnik, Sportske novosti, Globus.
He moved to Milan to study photography at European Institute of Design Milano. After completing his studies he worked at Industria Superstudio as a photo assistant for photographers like Fabrizio Ferri, Wayne Maser, Michel Comte, Peter Marlow, Carl de Keyzer and many others
At the same time he collaborated as a photographer with magazines (IO Donna, Vogue Russia, Marie Claire Russia, Gioia) and model agencies (Fashion, Elite, Major, Next, Why Not).
After 15 years in Milano Vicko returned to Split where he now lives. He works mostly for Croatian Museums photographing for books, catalogues, advertising and other material they publish. He also lectures photography at the Arts Academy in Split.
